GZIST Won Silver Prize in 3rd Invitational Competition of Innovation And Entrepreneurship for Female College Students

 The 3rd Guangdong Invitational Competition of Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Female College Students was initiated by Guangdong Women’s Vocational and Technical College. The project “Jungle Tiger -- Focusing on National Defense Enlightenment Education for Children in the New Era” was granted Silver Award, the highest award that our university has achieved since we participated in this event. The project was submitted by the student team involving three schools: Liang Wenting and He Xianrui from the School of Music and Dance, Li Weicong from the School of Economics and Management, and Lin Yanxiu, Lin Mingzhen and Chang Penghao from the School of Business Administration.

 The project aims to promote the spirit of patriotism, inherit the red revolutionary gene, cultivate the culture of military and martial arts, and foster new-era successors with “soul, ability, courage and morality”. With the unique national defense education system as the teaching core, the program carries out the theme of patriotism in combination with physical education, professional curriculum, widely popularized national defense education knowledge, to improve students’ consciousness of patriotism and discipline, spirit of hard work and inherit the red revolution.

 With the advance of mass entrepreneurship and innovation by the State and Guangdong, college students usher in a period of rapid development in innovation and entrepreneurship. with the support of the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Guangdong Province, and the Guangdong Women’s Federation, the Women’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance of Guangdong Province was established, which is committed to building a provincial incubator base for women’s innovation and entrepreneurship in Guangdong, and constantly optimizing the “Dual Innovation” ecology from platform, carrier and activities. It is hoped that female college students can accumulate wisdom and talent, and enhance will and morality in the practice of innovation and entrepreneurship.
