On the afternoon of September 6th, a work kick-off meeting in the new semester was held by the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Room 402 of Maofeng Innovation Valley. A total of 13 teams anchored in the Valley attended the meeting, presided over by Vice Dean Tan Fei.
Huan Yisha delivered a speech about the requirements for the application and procedures of the SYB entrepreneurship training class. Comprehensive and rich in content, the SYB class provides more entrepreneurship expertise and entrepreneurial projects. All teams are expected to actively participate in this training course.
Vice Dean Tan gave a brief report by making the eight questions as agendas: What did the teams do in the last semester? What academic competitions did the teams participate in last semester? How many times have you consulted with your instructor? After stationed in the valley, did the team carry out work smoothly in terms of study, communication, team work, etc? What constructive ideas do the teams have in terms of innovation and entrepreneurship? How do the teams plan to implement innovation and entrepreneurship activities this semester? Teams that are not competent or qualified will be kicked out according to the assessment regulation. All teams are required to ask for instruction from their mentors and complete the record form. Tan emphasized that teams should communicate with and learn from each other, and strengthen the solidarity of the teams based on cooperation.
The new semester means new opportunities and new challenges, said Dean Yu Yonglong. He stressed that innovation of technology and thinking is necessary in this new era, and the awareness of innovation should be enhanced for teams. He also encouraged students to participate in various academic competitions and grasp opportunities to display themselves.
