The 47th Guangzhou City SYB Entrepreneurship Trainer Course Completed at GZIST

On October 9th, the graduation ceremony of the 47th Guangzhou City SYB Entrepreneurship Mentor Training Course organized by Guangzhou Vocational Capacity Building Guidance Center and undertaken by our university was held in Maofeng Innovation Valley. Present were Director Gao Fanghong, Wang Junfeng and Gao Lihua, from the Project Planning Department of Guangzhou Vocational Capacity Building Guidance Center, Zhang Tongbing and Gao Sumin, National SYB Trainers from Malanhua China Entrepreneurship Training Program, Xiao Hai, Vice President of GZIST, Wei Dongting, Director of the Office of the Social Service Department, Yu Yonglong, Dean of the College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Gong Yisha, teacher in charge of the SYB project of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Director Gao Fanghong concluded by thanking the host institution, the mentors and the trainees for their dedication and efforts for the completion of the ten-day training class despite the pandemic and other hardships. She hoped that the trainees would be able to maintain the brand of entrepreneurship training and become experts in the field by diligent study to strive for excellence and set up a stage for those who want to enterprise, dare to innovate and  are capable of creating to surpass themselves for a brighter career.

Zhang Tongbing announced winners of the training. Chen Shujie won the first place in the written test. Pan Jiannan won the first place in the trial lecture. The third group of trainees won the Outstanding Team Award. Wei Dongting and Rong Hongtao were awarded Excellent Members of the Class Committee.

Wei Dongting, Class Leader, spoke on behalf of the trainees and expressed their gratitude to the selfless dedication of all the trainers. SYB training had broadened their horizons, the methods used such as classroom sharing, group discussions, and group competitions were integrated into the classroom through a new way.

Gao Sumin hoped that the trainees would become exemplary, useful, interesting, and kind trainers. They should get mixed with entrepreneurs and truly become companions of entrepreneurs.

On behalf of the university, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee Xiao Hai expressed his sincere gratitude to and cordial respect for the trainers from Guangzhou Vocational Capacity Building Guidance Center.

This SYB program has enlivened Guangzhou City entrepreneurship training and broadened its team base.
