On April 23, the University’s fourth and fifth SYB classes were kicked off in Maofeng Innovation Valley. Malanhua Training instructors Ma Xiaorong, Dong Jing, Huang Yuxian and Li Fengyi were appointed Entrepreneurship Mentors by the University CPC Committee Deputy Secretary and Vice President Xiao Hai, hosted by Yu Yonglong, Dean of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Trainer Dong Jing briefed the attendees on the course, attendance discipline, hands-on capabilities and strong sense of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The 60 trainees, selected by interviews from the university applicants, will undergo 7-day 80-hour rigid training. After the final assessment, they will receive SYB certificates issued by the Human Resource and Social Security department.
SYB means “start your business”, developed by the United Nations International Labor Organization for those who intend to establish their small or medium businesses. This kind of training courses aims to help our students learn how to plan their budget, steer their consciousness, strengthen their entrepreneurial capabilities and sharpen their skills, transferable to any of their work posts in the future.
