August 19-21, sponsored by ten Guangdong Province government departments such as Department of Education and the People’s Government of Zhanjiang City, organized by Lingnan Normal College and Construction Bank Guangdong Branch and assisted by Guangdong Province Universities and Colleges Graduates’ Employment Promotion Association, the “Construction Bank Cup” China International College Students’ Innovation Competition 2024 Guangdong was held in Cunjin Campus of Lingnan Normal College. GZIST Vice President ZHANG Rixin led our university team for a distinctive and rewarding competition this year.
GZIST Team “Transfer” to Future -China’s first Smart Hi-Precision Medical Transfer Machine Project (members include Huang Shipei, Liao Yizhi, Wan Qianhui, Yao Zhangze, Huang Junchuan, Cai Ye, Wei Xuanzhi, Chen Jiawei, Ning Guanguan, Liu Jialu, Wang Huiyu, Hong Xiangling, Xu Xue, Liu Zihan, Gao Huacong; instructors Liu Yanhua, Zhang Liang, Wang Li. Yan Dongguo, Yu Yonglong, Tang Luxin) won a Silver Award for Innovation. GZIST Team VFD Freeze-drying Technology for Rural Revitalization (members include Huang Junchuan, He Guangjun, Yu Yabei, Zhang Wenyuan, Peng Yuyi, Zheng Jiayi, Zhou Hangru, Li Zuyao, Xu Senyao, Weng Jinle, Wu Rouhua, Huang Shipei, Lai Zhaozhou, Wan Qianhui; instructors Huan Yisha, Li Guanwen, Zhang Defu) won a Silver Award for Innovation. The former team entered the National Competition Training Camp. The two provincial silver awarding teams and the national training camp team are an important breakthrough for our university. Altogether GZIST had 6562 projects for the Competition with a total of 24277 participating students.
It is reported that the Province recorded four hundred fifty-four thousand three hundred projects with a total of 1.8366 million participating students. At the end of the Competition, 370 projects were qualified for the Final. This year’s theme, “We Dare We Innovate” opened up a new journey for entrepreneurship and innovation and ignited the passion of our youthful students for teamwork and international collaboration.
