From June 13th to 14th, the Youth Volunteer Association of our university held an activity in the 16th dormitory building to raise the students’ awareness of low-carbon life, energy conservation as well as environmental protection, and help young college students to firmly establish the concept of green development.

The volunteers shared the knowledge of low-carbon life, distributed the “low-carbon life” initiatives and publicity materials, and made on-site explanation by closely focusing on energy conservation and emission reduction as well as the theme of the National Low Carbon Day. They actively promoted the knowledge of green development and spread the concept of low-carbon life to help the students further grasp the knowledge of low-carbon and energy saving life, to help form a new energy-saving and low-carbon social trend. At the same time, volunteers also organized some games about low-carbon life, so that the students can better remember how to practise the concept of low-carbon life through playing games, to save paper, electricity, food and water, and use less disposable materials.

The students actively participated in the activity and said that they will take action in the future, starting by making small changes, and practise the green and low-carbon lifestyle.
