On the morning of March 8th, a conversazione was held to celebrate International Womens Day. President Hu Shejun, CPC Committee Secretary Huang Shengcheng, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee, Vice President and Chairman of the Trade Union Hu Sihu, Vice President Zhang Shimei, directors of personnel department and relevant leaders of the Trade Union, and female faculty representatives from different departments attended the meeting to celebrate the 112th International Womens Day.

 On behalf of the University, Huang Shengcheng, Secretary of the CPC Committee, extended festive greetings to all the female faculty members. He said that great importance was always attached to the development of female staff in our university, highly praised for their responsibility, diligence and dedication. A group of outstanding model teachers at the university and provincial level have been constantly emerging. He encouraged female staff to shape new images in the new era, give full play to their excellent qualities to forge ahead together for the goal of establishing first-class and distinctive high-level application-oriented undergraduate university. All of the female staff should persist in improving their internal and external quality, and strengthen their professional ability to constantly create new achievements in teaching and academic research.

 In a warm atmosphere at the meeting, representatives on behalf of all female staff appreciated the concern and care from the university, and put forward  suggestions and expressed their feelings for the development of the university. They said that all of our female staff would actively take on new responsibility and present their elegant demeanour in the new era to give full play to the role of female faculty and staff in the development of our institutional undertakings.

 President Hu Shejun highly affirmed and sincerely thanked the representatives for their wonderful talks and pertinent opinions. He believed that female faculty members were an important force in the reform and development of our univrsity. All staff had a strong sense of responsibility and were full of expectations for our development.. Their suggestions for our university would be taken into consideration seriously. Efforts to create a better working and living environment for female staff have been constantly made by the university.

 Under the care of the Board of Directors, the Trade Union offered festive presents to female faculty and staff and took group photos to fully display their elegant demeanour.
